Week of June 2–8, 2026 — Shipped Everything, 20Vault

The one-liner: A build week with no diary and no excuses — vault tools, a whole YouTube video system, and backup infrastructure all shipped in seven days.

What Happened

Tuesday — The Vault Marathon

One of those days where you sit down and don’t really get up. I built the entire tools layer for the 20% Vault in a single sitting — four interactive calculators (compound habits, lifetime reading, skill mastery, and a “find your 20%” focus audit), a tools hub page, and an Action Vault landing page. Then redesigned the homepage on top of it: editorial-gold styling, a serif typeface, a video hero, an FAQ section with proper schema. Thirty-plus commits before I stopped counting. The kind of day that feels like flow until you look up and the light’s gone.

Thursday — Launch Prep

Quieter, sharper. Embedded the founder video on the Vault’s About page and built the banner assets for the marketplace listing. Less building, more packaging — the unglamorous work of making a thing actually ready for strangers to find.

Friday — The Video System

This was the fun one. Built a full visual system for a YouTube info-video aimed at agency owners — around thirteen diagrams mapping out the whole argument: the leaky bucket, the value equation, the core four, LTV:CAC, SERP lift, review velocity, site architecture, the AI-search timeline. Turned all of it into a reusable skill so I never hand-build a deck like that again. Also ran a lead scrape for local service businesses and turned it into a clean outreach list, and fixed a redirect on the agency site so the canonical SEO actually behaves.

Saturday — Backup Infrastructure

Built the backup system properly — Notion, local files, and encrypted secrets all pushing to cloud storage, written test-first so I actually trust it. Boring on the surface, but this is the stuff that lets you sleep. The whole point of building systems is so a bad day doesn’t become a catastrophe.

Sunday — Intelligence

Shipped the weekly intelligence briefing. Light touch — the machinery mostly runs itself now, which is the entire idea.

Monday — Voice Agents, Published

Wrote and published a blog post on AI voice agents — words, cover image, CTA graphic, all the way live. Then hardened the secrets backup so it runs unattended without me babysitting it. Closed the week tidying the CRM and writing up a LinkedIn playbook.

What I Built

What Was Hard

• The secrets backup fought me at the end of the week — had to convert it to an unattended keypair setup, then chase a packaging bug. Three commits on Monday just to get it quiet and reliable.
• No diary, all week. The work is legible because the files and commits don’t lie — but the human texture of the week is just gone. That’s the real miss.

The Honest Take

The output was strong — genuinely one of the more productive weeks in a while, and almost all of it was leverage work: tools that compound, skills I’ll reuse, infrastructure that protects me. But I didn’t write a single diary entry the whole week, which means I can reconstruct exactly what I built and almost nothing about how the days felt. That’s a tell. When I’m heads-down building, the reflection is the first thing to go — and reflection is the thing that keeps the building pointed in the right direction. Shipping without noticing is just a faster way to drift. The systems all work. The question is whether I was awake while I made them.

Next Week

Keep the build momentum, but write the day down — even three lines. The vlog is only as good as the week I actually paid attention to.
