AI Systems & Workcraft for Entrepreneurs | LachlanCB

Apps

This page lists 13 internal apps built by Lachlan Bruce — an AI systems consultant based in Chiang Mai, Thailand — for running a one-person agency. Every tool on this page is one I built for my own operation and still use; none are products for sale, and there is no signup.

They fall into four jobs: auditing a prospect's business before a sales call, running the numbers on my own business, producing content at volume, and keeping the underlying infrastructure honest.

The reason they exist is narrow. A solo operator can't buy their way to leverage — commercial SaaS is priced per seat and scoped for teams, and stacking six subscriptions to do the work of one workflow is how a one-person business ends up paying agency overheads on agency-free revenue. Building the tool costs a weekend and then costs nothing.

What each group is for

Prospect intelligence

Know more about a business than they expect before the first call.

These run before a sales conversation, not after. The GBP Audit and Website Intelligence Scorer both take a URL or a business name and return a scored report, so the opening line of a cold call is a specific finding rather than a pitch. The Demo Site Generator turns that finding into a live URL in under a minute — showing a prospect their own rebuilt site closes better than describing one.

Business intelligence

Make the numbers visible daily instead of reconstructing them quarterly.

Spreadsheets fail at this because nobody opens them on a bad day. These are dashboards that load in one click and show the figure you're avoiding: revenue against target, real hourly rate, which lead source actually paid, how many calls you logged versus how many you claimed. The Revenue Mechanics Model is the forward-looking half — it models CPA, conversion rate and break-even before any money is spent, which has killed more of my ideas than it has funded.

Content and AI systems

Produce at a volume a single person cannot sustain manually.

The Content Engine handles the pipeline across nine publishing destinations; IG Content OS handles research, scraping 8 tracked competitors across 160+ posts and turning the patterns into briefs. The Voice Agent Suite is 8 ElevenLabs agents wired to Claude — they aren't chatbots reading a script, they hold a real conversation and are the closest thing I have to thinking out loud with someone who has read all my notes.

Infrastructure and agent ops

Know the automation is running without checking that it's running.

Everything above sits on one VPS. The OpsCore dashboard regenerates every 30 minutes with CPU, memory, disk and container health across 14 Docker services; Mission Control shows the agent fleet, scheduled jobs and memory state live. Both exist because unattended automation fails silently, and silent failure is the only kind that costs you a client.

Build notes

How these get built

Almost all of it is Next.js and Tailwind on the front, Supabase for persistence, and Claude Code doing the writing. Automation runs through n8n on a DigitalOcean VPS in Singapore, with Docker holding the services and Qdrant handling vector memory. Nothing here is exotic — the leverage is in the ratio, not the stack.

The build loop is deliberately short: the first version ships in a day or two, gets used for a week, and either earns a second version or gets deleted. Tools that survive that filter are the ones on this page. Several didn't, which is a different page.

The economics are the whole argument. A comparable set of commercial SaaS products covering audits, dashboards, content pipelines and monitoring runs to several hundred dollars a month for a single seat. These cost roughly the price of one VPS and whatever API usage they burn — and, more importantly, they do the specific thing I need rather than the general thing a product team decided most customers need.
